Information we collect
We collect the information you provide directly, such as your email address, password credentials in protected form, and account preferences.
When you use ScoutVal, we may process gameplay-related identifiers, VALORANT account details you submit, match context, rank information, and app activity needed to operate the service.
We also collect limited technical data such as IP address, device and browser information, request logs, authentication events, and error diagnostics.
How we use information
We use your information to create and secure your account, authenticate sessions, provide rank scouting features, maintain service reliability, and improve ScoutVal.
We may use technical and usage data to detect abuse, prevent unauthorized access, debug issues, measure performance, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may prevent parts of the service from working correctly.
Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide ScoutVal, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or satisfy legal requirements.
Account data may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed, subject to backup, audit, fraud-prevention, and legal retention needs.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.
No online service can guarantee perfect security. You are responsible for using a strong password and keeping your account credentials confidential.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.
You may request account assistance or data deletion using the contact method provided by ScoutVal. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
